fiu academic facilities: convent of s. maria di castello

Our academic facilities are in the medieval convent of S. Maria di Castello, one of the treasures of Genoa in the oldest part of its historic quarter and close to the UniGe School of Architecture.

Our spaces have changed slightly, and we now have our own entrance and a more cohesive arrangement of rooms in a single wing of the convent complex: large studio, classroom/presentation hall, seminar room, and offices.

We also have access to the garden for reading, having lunch, or relaxing, and we will hold our collaborative workshops with UniGe students in the upper loggia.
